Images are temporarily processed and are not permanently stored on our servers unless you explicitly save them as part of your shopping session.

We may collect your approximate location to calculate local tax rates for accurate total pricing. This location data is used solely for tax calculation purposes and is not stored permanently.

2.3 Account Information

When you create an account, we collect:

2.4 Shopping Session Data

We store information about your shopping sessions, including:

• Scanned items and their prices
• Shopping session totals

4. Third-Party Services

4.1 Supabase (Data Storage)

We use Supabase for secure data storage and user authentication. Your data is stored on Supabase's secure servers with industry-standard encryption.

4.2 Google Cloud Vision (Text Recognition)

Price tag images are first processed using Google Cloud Vision API for optical character recognition (OCR). Google processes images temporarily to extract text and does not store them permanently.

4.3 Anthropic (AI Analysis)

When additional analysis is needed, extracted text or images may be sent to Anthropic's Claude API for price and product name identification. Data sent to Anthropic is processed temporarily and is not retained per Anthropic's data usage policies.

4.4 Stripe (Payment Processing)

For web-based premium subscriptions, we use Stripe for secure payment processing. Stripe handles all payment card information according to PCI-DSS standards.

4.5 Google Play Services

For Android in-app purchases, we use Google Play's billing system. Google handles payment processing according to their privacy policies.

4.6 Resend (Email Delivery)

We use Resend to deliver shopping session receipts when you request them via email. Resend processes your email address solely for delivery purposes.

5. Data Security

We implement appropriate security measures to protect your personal information:
